Sheweth

That by a Judgement or Order under the hands
& Seales of Lawrence Saintlow< no role > & Anth Mann< no role > Esqrs :
two of his Maties: Justices of the Peace of this
County (Quor unus) bearing date the twentieth
day of May last your Petr. is charged to be
the reputed Father of a Male Bastard Child
born in the Parish of St: James's Westminster
on the nineteenth day of May last on the
body of Sarah Roberts< no role > Singlewoman That
your Petr: thereby thinks himself agrieved
and Humbly Appeals to this Honable: Court
against the same.

And prays that your Worshipps
would be pleased to Order the
Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said parish of St: James's
Westminster in the said County
and all other Parties concerned
to attend this Court some day
this present Sessions to heare
and abide the Judgement and
determinacon of this Court
touching the said Appeale.
