The humble Petition of Charles
Loxton

Sheweth

That your Petitioner Sarah Loxton< no role > Standing indicted
thus, ittthe Malicious Prosecution of One Timothy
Joynes
< no role > & mary< no role > his Wife , for buying of Stolen Goods,
& your Petitioner being altogether Innocent of the
Matter; Your Petitioner thereto Pleaded not Guilty
& given Notice of Tryall for Fryday the Tenth
of this Instant January , but your Petitioner being
very Poor, & having a great many children; in great
danger of becoming Chargeable to the Parish, are not
able to taken out a Venie or Prosecute ye Traverse

Your Petitioner therefore humbly Prays that
your Petitioner Sarah may be admitted to
prosecute her Sd. Traverse in form a
Paupere

And your Petitioner Shall ever Pray Etc
