George Williams< no role > of the parish of St. James Westmer ; in the County
of Middx Inn-Holder and Presentor in this Cause maketh oath
that he this Depont about two Years since received a Bond
or obligation in the penalty of forty ponds dated the
Seaventeenth day of October One thousand seaven hundred and
fifteene for the payment of twenty pounds, Six months next after
the date of the said Bond or obligation And this Deport. further
maketh oath that he this Deport; did advance the Sume of
twenty pounds on the sd. Bond, on the Creditor reputation of One
Edward Good< no role > of Yeore in the County of Hereford Yeoman who is
named as obligor in the said Bond And this Deport. wrote
Letters to him the said Good, [..] And dealeredwhereby he
this Deport. demanded (such money in the condition of such
bond mentioned) from the said Good, who has declared to him
this Deport. by a Post Letter now in this Deports. custody that
he did not execute or Sign such bond, And this Deport. further
maketh oath that One Thomas Watkins< no role > whose names is subscribed
as a Wittnesse to such, bond about two Years since lived att Foxley
wherethe sd Watkins now lives (as this Deport. is informed and beleives) by reason where the
in the County of Hereford as this Dep remembers when here
this Deport; cannot gett him to by present att the tryall of this Cause this present Session
and saw there the sd. Watkins without whose Testimony (as he
this Deport. is advised) he cannot safely proceed to the try all
of this Cause.
