& of the penaltys therein contained & of severall Orders made
at the Generall & Qur. Sessions of the peace held for this County,
For that the sd Constables & Headboroughs have been
remiss in their duty in observance of the sd. Orders &
not carrying the Offenders before one or more of his
Maties. Justices of the peace for this County to be punished
according to their demerits, And alsoe upon reading
of a prsentmt. made unto this Cort by the Grand Jury
for this County representing to this Cort that of late
there have been & still daily are divers loose idle &
disorderly boys who wander about in severall streets & passages within the weekly
Bills of mortality in this County under prtence of
cleaning shoes, and wth. the money they gett thereby
frequently game useing at their games most bitter Oaths
& execracons, and that they humbly conceived them to
be Vagrants & for the most part thieves or their spies
& thereby very dangerous & prjudiciall to his Maties. Subjects
& a Nusance likely to increase if not timely prvented,
and that they hoped this Cort would make an order for
the redressing such a growing evill, And If It further
appeareing to this Cort by the complaint of severall
Inhitants of this County, that severall Psons ride on
carts, drays carrs or waggons not haveing any pson or psons
on foot to guide [..] or conduct the same, In contempt of
one Act of parl made in the first yeare of the reign of his

now Matie King George, Intituled, An Act for better
regulateing hackney coaches, carts, drays carrs &
waggons within the Citys of London & westmr. & the
weekly Bills of mortality, and for prventing mischiefs
occasioned by the Drivers rideing upon such carts
drays, carrs & waggons, whereby every offender
being thereof convicted before one or more of his
Maties. Justices of the peace for the County wherein such
offence is comitted by the Oath of one or more credible
witness or witnesses, is for every such offence to forfeit
the sume of ten shillings to be levyed & disposed of
in such manner as is appointed by the sd. Act and in
default of paymt. of such for feiture to be comitted to the
house of Correccon there to be kept at hard labour for
the space of three days, It is thought fit & Ordered by
this Cort that the respcive high Constables of the severll.
Divisions in this County doe forthwith issue out their
prcepts to all the Petty Constables & Headboroughs
within their respcive Divisions thereby requireing
them forthwith to give publique notice of the sd prsentmt. within
their respcive districts, and to apprhend & carry
before one or more of his Maties.SubJustices of the peace
for this County allSuchOffendersasthat they shall find
guilty of anyof the an the likeoffences aforesd or other like offences & an acct. of their
Christian & sir names & places of aboad, And for the
better & more effectuall execucon of this order It is
