Upon hearing of the appeale of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Martin in the
feilds in this County against an order under the hands &
seales of Thomas west< no role > & Robert Kyrby< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties.
Justices of the peace for the said County (Quorum unns)
beareing date the sixteenth day of July last whereby
winifred patteloe< no role > (the wife of John Patteloe< no role > ) who was
likely to become chargeable to the hamlett of Lymehouse
in the parish of Stepney in the said County was removed
from the said hamlett of Lymehouse to the said parish of
St. Martin in the feilds upon pretence that the said John
patteloe is a Forreigner and noe legall settlemt. of his
could be found and that the said winifred patteloe< no role > before
her intermarriage with the sd John Patteloe< no role > was last legally
settled in the said parish of St. Martin in the feilds , And
upon hearing of what was alledged by the said Appellants
This Court by consent of Mr. Corbett of Councell for the
Inhabitants of the sd hamblett of Lymehouse Doth allow
of the said appeale and doth vacate & discharge the
aforesaid order of the said two Justices of the peace, And
doth order that the Overseers of the poor of the sd. parish of
St. Martin in the feilds doe forthwith remove & convey the
said winifred patteloe< no role > from their said parish to the said
[..] hamlett of Lymehouse , and deliver her to the
Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the sd. hamlett of
Lymehouse or to some or one of them with a coppy of this
order who are hereby required to receive the sd. winifred
patteloe
< no role > into their care, and to provide for her when she
