To the Worshipfull Bench of Justice

The humble Peticon of Ann Miller< no role > of ye Parish of St. John at Hackney
Widow Etc

Humbly Sheweth

That whereas ye Peticoner for many Years last past have lived in great
Credit and have pd. all Taxes in ye Sd. Parish for many Years last past. But now
through great Losses by Thieves (they having Robbed yr Peticoner of all her Linnen
and Woollen so yt yr Peticoner had not any thing to Shift her wth: all) and other great
misfortunes is now brought to great Poverty in so much yt Your Peticoner hath not
a Bed to lye on nor all last Winter but bye on Straw so yt yr Petioconer through
hard ship have gotten a great Lameness in her Limbs and yr Peticoner being of a
great Age am ways able to get any thing towards my Maintenance your
Peticoner therefore humbly Traves yt Your Worships will take it in Consideration
her deplorable Condition and Order yr Peticoner speedy relief from Ye Sd
Parish

Sept ye 4th 1716

And yr Peticoner as in Duty bound shall ever Pray Etc
