Richard Littleton< no role > Gen Maketh Oath that he was, (about
the ninth or tenth day of March last) at the Goale of Newgate
in Order to pay the Fees of Rebeccah Atkinson< no role > a Prisoner there
who was discharged And this Depont: Saith that Elizabeth Chip< no role >
asked this Depont: if he knew Jo: Woster< no role > the High Constable of
the Tower Devision , this Depont: Answared he did & the Said
Chip at that time Declared that She lay there upon his
account and that She had been whipt only for giveing the
said Woster a Small wound with a Sword but declared at
the same time that She was Sorry it did not goe through
his Body and also at that time said that if ever She came
out of that trouble She Should be hanged for him for that
She would Murther him when ever She see him if She had
opertunety and the said Chip further said to this Depont
that She was (by the Court) Ordered to be sent to the house
of Corection for Six Months but She intended to Stay the
Six Months in Newgate and then She did not question but to
obtaine her discharge
