Upon Informacon given unto this Court that a great many Alehouse keepers [..] victualers & Retailers of brandy & other distilled liquors liable P quarter sessions within
Division in this County are disaffected to his Maties Governmt. and have used their
endeavours to incite divers soldiers & other persons to withdraw their allegiance from his present Matie To
the great danger of his Maties. person, and against the laws of this Kingdom, It is ordered by
this Court that it be, And It is hereby recomended unto his maties. Justices of the peace for this
County inhabiting withinDivision aforesaid imediately to ordergentl
high Constable of the sd. Division forthwith to issue out his precepts to the severall petty
Constables within the same Division thereby requireing them & every of them forthwith to
Sumontheall the AlehouseKeeper [..] Victualers & Retailers of brands & other distilled liquors liable to Quarter soldiers within their respective parishes hamletts
& Constableries to attend the sd. Justices of the peace at such times & places as they shall appoint
And It is hereby recomended unto the sd Justices of the peace to tender unto allsuchand
every sucto Alehouse keepers [..] & Vicutalers & Retailers as aforesd as shall appeare before them, the oaths [..]
to be taken by one Art of parliamt. made in the first yeare of the reign of their late Maties King
William & Queen Mary, Intituled, An Art for the abrogating of the oaths of supremacy &
allegiance & appointing other oaths, and [..] the Declaracon
[..] sett down & expressed in an Art of parliamt. made in the thirtieth
yeare of the regin of the late King Charles the second, Intituled, An Art for the more
effectuall Preferreing the Kings person & governmt; by disableing papists from sitting
in either house of parliamt; And alsoe [..] the oath mencened in one other Art of
parliamt. made in the sixth yeare of the reign of the late Queen Ann, Intituled, An Art for
the better security of her Maties. perform & Governmt: comonly called the Abjuracon oath And to putt the laws in execucon against
the Refusers thereof and against [..] such as shall make Default in not attending the sd. Justices of the peace
for the purposes above menconed, being duely sumoned for that purpose,
