whereas upon reading the humble peticon & appeale of

on behalfe of themselves & many others of the
sd parish exhibited Unto this Court settingforth

parish have lately mett privately & clandestinely
(as the Petrs. are informed) at the house of Mr. Kingstone
one of the present Churchwardens and not in the
publique vestry of the said parish and without
the consent of or calling to their assistance the
cheifest & most antient Inhabitants of the sd parish
(as hath been constantly practiced there) have
made a yeares rate to be collected monthly of &

of the poore there for this present yeare one
thousand seven hundred & fifteen according to
a pound rate, after the rate of two shillings in the
