To ye Rt Honble the Bench of Justices for ye County
of Middlx .

The humble Peticon of Francis Geary< no role > late Keeper of the
New prison in the said County.

Sheweth


That yor Petr continued in his Office as Keeper of the said Prison for
about Two years and executed the same with care diligence and
industry dureing wch time yr Petr for ye credit and security of ye sd Prison [..]
our & expended of his owne proper money for law charges necessary Repaires
and other conveniences at least £300: wch has not yet Cm paid Yr Petr.
That yr Petr upon Ye decease of his Grace Ye late Duke of Bedford
(who was succeeded by his Grace ye Duke of Buckingham) was without
being heard displaced from his said Office of Keeper wthout any inst
cause of Complaint agt Yr Petr. or satisfaction to be made for Ye charges
Yr Petr had bin at wch to Yr Petrs great mas fortune laid him under severall
Inconveniencyes and renderd him altogether uncapeable of endeavouring
to be repaid his money so disbursd as aforesaid

Yor. Petr therefore humbly prayes Yor Honrs wilbe
pleasd to take into Yor consideration the great [..]
loss and mas fortune Yor Petr labours under that Yor.
Petr may be replacd in his said Office Or otherwise
Yr the now Keeper (who reaps the benefit thereof)
may reimburse Yor Petr ye mony so laid out as
aforesaid or be releived therein as to Yr Honrs.
shall think fitt.

And Yr Petr shall ever pray Etc
