Upon hearing the appeale of the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor of the parish of St. Peter poor in Broad street London
against an Order under the hands & Seales of Stephen Hall< no role > [..] and
[..] Thomas Frampton< no role > Esqrs . two of her Maties. Justices of the peace
for the County of Middx (Quorum unus) beareing date the
twenty Sixth day of Marchlastlast whereby John Shaw< no role > &
Sarah< no role > his wife & their two children (Vizt.) George< no role > aged about
Six yeares & Sarah< no role > aged about three months who were likely
to become chargeable to the parish of St. Mary Matfellon als
White Chappell in the sd County of Middx were removed
from the Said parish of St. Mary Matfellon als White Chappell
to the Said parish of St. Peter poor in Broad street London as
the place of their legall settlemt. And upon heareing of what
was insisted on by Councell for the Inhabitants of the Sd parish
of St.PeterMary Matfellon alswhitechapWhite Chappell & alsoe
by Councell for the Inhabitants of the said parish of St. Peter
poor in Broad street London. For that it appeareth to this
Court that the said John Shaw & Sarah his wife & their Said
two children were last legally settled in the Said parish of
St. Peter poor in Broad street London This Court doth disallow
of the said appeale, and doth ratify & confirm the aforesaid
order of the Said two Justices of the peace, and require the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd parish of St.
Peter poor in Broad street London & all persons concerned to
yeild due obedience thereunto.
