Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two
of her Maties: Justices of the peace for the Countie of
Middlx where of one of the quorum by the Church-
wardens and Overseers of the poore of the parish of st
Giles without Cripplegat in the sd Countie of Middlx
that of late one Martha Gammidge< no role > wid is lately come
into there said parish endevoring to Setle her selfes there
without giveing notice in writting to the sd Churchwardens
or Overseers of the poore or any one of them of the
house of her a bode in the sd parish & she haveing
nothing to maintane her Selfe will unavoidably become
a great Charge to the sd parish of st Giles without Cripple-
gate in the sd Countie (if not Speedely prevented) now
for as much as it appeareth unto us the said Justices
of the peace upon the examinacon of William Ferris< no role > of
the parish of St Giles without Cripplegate London upon
Oath that about nine yeare aged She came from & out
of the parish of st Alphage near Sion Collidge in the
Citty of London whare She lived with Phillip Gammidge< no role >
her husband there who is deceased & that He payd To the
Poore rates & all other parish Taxes in the sd parish was
therefore the st [..] fires of the peace upon the proof a
fore sd day Adjudge & deem the Last legall setlement
of the st Martha Gammidge to be in the parish of st
Alphage near Sion Collidge . in the Citty of London [..]
is her last legall Setlement.

These are therefore in her Maties name to require you forth
with upon receipt here of to pass and County the about
sd Martha Gammidge< no role > from and out of the parish of
st Giles without Cripplegate in the Counte, of Middlx
into the parish of st Alphage near Sion Collidge
in the Citty of London and her deliver to the Church
wardens & Overseers of the peace there who are
hereby required her to recoard & provide for according
to Law Given under our hands & Sealers this 24 day
of decemb Ano Dni 1713
