The humble Peticon & appeale of Elizabeth Tisbury< no role > of white crosstreet
Liberty in the Parish of St Giles wth out Cripplegate in the said County
Widow

Sheweth


That your Petre. Last Husband was a Bricklayor, and was kild by a fall from off a
Scaffold, and hath left your Petr. in a very poor Condition with three Children to
maintaine, yor Petr makeing a hard Shift to keep them from being chargable to the
said Parish by Selling a little Earthen ware for a Livelyhood. Yet not withstanding
your Peter. miserable case, and known poverty your Petr: is assessed Eighteene
Pence P Quarter, to the poors Rate, which your Petr. is not able to pay

Therefore humbly prays of this Honble: Court to be discharged
from paying to the said Rate, neither was yor Petr. ever charged before.

And yor Petr Shall pray Etc
