Who Saith upon Oath That Yesterday about Six of the Clock
in ye evening of the same day she Saw Margaret Payne< no role >
walking severall times to & fro in
Blue Anchor yard
near pinn Alley Gate
& knowing her to be A Common
Thiefe She Spoke to Severall Neighbours that She feard
A robbery would be comitted that might & about
halfe an hour afterwards She heard that Robert
Shootwells house was broke open & that Cloaths
of A Considerable Vallue was Stolen thereout
Whereupon She this Depont. went to me Shootwels wife
& described the said Margt. Payne< no role >
who had been
walking about thereas aforesaid & told her that if
She would imediately take out A Marri. & Search in
Church Lane where this Informt. knew the Sd Payne
frequented She question'd not but to find her goods & Saith
that she went with the said Mrs. Shootwell & upon A
Search they found most of the said goods in Elizabeth
