Ann Kent< no role > upon Her Oath Sayeth that She Sojourned
at ye House of William Hill< no role > in St: John Street in the sd County Black Smith Where She
Lay in A Room up two paire of Staires wth: Jane< no role > the Daughter of ye: Said Wm Hill< no role >
and that her trunk and other things were in A Room up one paire of Staires & that
on the Sixteenth Day of June Last She Had in her Said Trunk Lock up Six Guineas
in Gold Eight Shillings and Six pence in Silver, a paye of Stayes Value thirty Shilling
a Scarfe Value Nineteen Shillings two Suits of Head cloaths Value Sixteen Shillings
two Gold Rings Value thirty Shillings one Elland A halfe of holland Cloth Value Six
Shillings and A paire of Ruffles value four Shillings, and that about one or Two of the
Clock in the afternoon on ye: Said Sixteenth Day of June Last She Went out of the Said
House & Returned about five of the Clock in ye: said Afternoon and then having occa
-sion to Look in Her Trunk She found it unlockt and that the Said Six Guineas in Gold
and Eight Shillings in Six pence in Silver were taken out of her Said Trunk Where
upon She Askt Ann Hill< no role > ye Wife of ye: Said Wm Hill< no role > (who is Sister to this Informants
Mother in Lane) Who had been there that afternoon and She Answered no body had
been there besides their Own Family [..] and one Christian Sollers< no role > , and asking Who had
been up Staires She the Said Ann Hill< no role > said that no body but her Daughter Jane Hill< no role >
and the Said Christian Sollers had been up Staires that afternoone and She this Informant
did then tell the Said Ann Hill< no role > that she had Lost the Said Six Guineas and Eight [..]
Shillings and Six pence and askt her the Said Ann Hill< no role > Wither She knew any
of it and She told Her she did not and about two or three Days after She this In
formant went out againe & when she Returned She found her trunk unlock
againe and Mist the Said stays and ye Rest of the things above menconed and
then She Inquired of ye: Said Ann Hill< no role > Who had been there that Day & She an
-swered that She did not know of any Body but her own Family and then this
Informant told her that her trunk had been unlockt againe and that as She had
Lost her Money before So none She had Lost her Cloaths and she the Said Ann
Hill
< no role > Replyed that She did not know any things of it nor did She Know that her
Daughter had any key that would open it but did beleive that the Sd: Christian
Sollers had a Key that might open the Lock of the said Trunk and she further Say [..]
that on Sunday Last the Sd Wm Hill< no role > talked privately wth: Said Jane Hill< no role > and
then told this Informant that ye: Sd: Jane Hill< no role > had told him that She was going
to A Haycock to fetch a Silver Hilted Sword and Said that She the Said Jane
would Sell or pawn ye Sd. Sword and A gown of Thomas Sollers< no role > 's & wth: the money would
fetch out Some of ye: things wth: belonged to her this Informant that was pawned & the
sd Ann Hill< no role > told this Informant that She had Looke for the sd Gown but Sayd her Daughter
had taken the Same away. and She further Sayeth that She having no fries
in Town did Write to her Father to Come up to Town to advise her what
