Six of ye Clock in ye Evening of Tuesday wch: was ye nineteenth day of

Informt: hath been told) brought to him A laced Tabby Petticoat
& a Stuff Petticoat & desir'd him this Informt: to lend her Fifty
Shillings upon them, & that upon further discourse this
Informt: agreed to lend her Thirty Shillings upon ye sd Two
Petticoats, provided she would Satisfy him to whom the sd
Petticoats did belong, whereupon ye sd

told this Informt: that ye sd Petticoats were ye Goods of One
Mrs: Harris a Mid wife at ye Upper End of Holborn at whose
request she came to borrow Money upon ye sd Petticoats, &
that this Informt: then told ye sd Stanton that he would not lend
any Money upon ye sd Petticoats, except he should first Speak
wth ye sd Mr: Harris, & thereupon this Informt: profering to go
wth ye sd Stanton to ye sd Mrs. Harris, they went together as far
as St. Giles
Church or there abt: & there ye sd Stanton desired this
Informt: to go into an Ale house & stay till she went to call ye sd
Mrs: Harris, & accordingly hee went into an Ale house & staid there
abt: A Quarter of an hour, sd but ye sd Stanton did not come back
to
