The Deposition of Stephen Westwood< no role > of Sons
in the County aforesd Innkeeper taken upon
this 23d. day of July 1708

This Depont: Sayes upon his Oath That yes [..]
being the 22d. Instant between One and two [..]
Clock in the afternoon two Psons Came to his [..]
in Southmims aforesd and enquired for Some Grass
their Horses if they had any on the Backide the [..]
house the Horse being put to Grass (one of the
being very Hoff and Sweaty) He Pceived the Pson
Drowsy, and Soon after found one of them Sleep [..]
in his Feild and the other in his house over a [..]
or two of Drink; This Depont. Veiwing the Horse
well and finding them not to be Horses for a Sad
but Drawing Horses, and one of them Pticularly [..]
Sweaty and disordered by havelling and the Psons
themselves appearing very Suspitious; Her [..]
then beleived [..]
the sd Horses as aforesd. Whereupon he Sent for
Mr: Wm: Wood the H: Constable in the Neighbourhood
to Consull abt. this Matter and to Seasse be sd Pson
which accordingly was done And Further Sayes [..]
