day of July 1708

This Depont: Sayes upon his Oath That on
Wednesday the 21st. Instant he lest one Strong
Dusty coloured Gelding near 15 hands high out of
the Grounds belonging to Babram place in the
County of Cambridge and that on Sunday
Following he [..] had Intelligence
that the sd Gelding was in the Custody of one
Steph: Westwood< no role > att Southmims in this County
of Middx : (being taken wth: one James Beswick< no role >
als Bissick < no role > now in Custody upon Suspicon of
Stealing the sd Gelding) Which this Depont:
maketh Oath is the same Gelding as he soe
last the 21st. Instant from Babram place
as aforesd.

And this Depont: Further makesh Oath That
on Wednesday aforesd Arthur Joscelyn< no role > Esqr of
Stapleford in the sd County of Cambridge lost
one other dusty Coloured Gelding out of his Grounds
in Stapleford aforesd and that on Sundry
Following he had Intelligence that the sd
Gelding was in Custody of the aforesd Steph:
Westwood

Tathe < no role > now in Custody upon Suspicon of Stealing
the sd Gelding) which this Depont. makesh
