Majesties Justices of the Peace for the said County (bind Quorn) both
Residing neer the Parish Church of Ealing als Bealing in this County
made the Eleventh Day of July Anno Din 1698 And in the Tenth Yeare
of his Maties: Reigne King William the Third over England &
Touching A Male Bastard Child begott on the Body of Dorothy Blake< no role > This name instance is in set 2668.
of Old Berentford in the Parish of Ealing als Zealing aforesaid (Vizt)

Wee find by Examination of the said Dorothy Blake< no role > This name instance is in set 2668. taken upon Oath before
One of [..] the Nine and Twentith Day of June last past That James Collins< no role > of Old
Brentford aforesaid Brickmaker to the Reputed Father of the said Bastard
Child and is thereupon so Adjudged by vo.

For the better Discharge of the said Parish Wee doe Order That the said on
James Collins< no role > Shall pay unto the Present Overseers of the Poore of the said
Parish of Ealing als Zealing and their Successors for the time being the same
of EighteenePenceWeebly in every Neeb from the Date hereof for and
towards the Maintenance of the said Bastard Child untill he shall Attaind the
Age of Ten Yeares And that the said Bastard Child shall be Kept and Nourished by
the Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish During the [..] bility of the said
[..] at pretend under Oure Atthe St. Bart [..] Hospitall ; and
[..] Nourish [..]

Wee [..] Order that soe Soone as the said Bast [..] shall attaine
the Age of Ten Yeares the said James Collins< no role > Shall to be care to put the said
Child apprentice to some Honest Trade out of the said Parish Or otherwise
dispose of him to the Content of the Overseers of the said Parish of Ealing
that Shall then Execute the said Office. To the Intent that the said Child may
not be further Chargeable to the said Overseers or any of the Inhabitants of
the Parish of Ealing als Zealing aforesaid

And Lastly Wee doe Order that the said James Collins< no role > Shall forthwith become Bound
with Sufficient Sureties in the Penall sume of Forty Pounds to the Present [..]
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of Ealing als Zealing
and then Successors for the Performance of this our Order Given under our
Hands the Day and Yeare abovesaid.
