Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
Hands and Seales are here unto Sett Two of his Maties &
Justices of the peace for the said County of Middlx (Quor [..]
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the Parish

or left in the Said Parish of Shadwell And that the [..]
Infant Tho: Cox hath been agreat Charge and is likly to be
further Chargable to the said Parish And whereas itt
appeareth unto us in the Said Justices upon the Oath of one
Johanna Twilt< no role > of Ratclife in the Parish of Stepney in
the County aforesaid That the Said Thomas Cox< no role > the father
was last legally Settled in the Parish of St Stephen
in the Citie of Bristoll where he was an Apprentice
by Indenture to one Mr. Crateman a Sailmaker
in the said Parish of Stephan and that the Said Tho [..]

< no role > did game use legall Settle [..] Since his sd Appriship
These are therefore in his Maties Name Strictly to Charge &
Comand you and every of you forthwith upon Sight
hereof to remove & convey the Said Infant Tho: Cox
from the said Parish of St. Paul Shadwell and [..]
Constable to Constable (or otherwise) the next & [..]
to the said Parish of St. Stephan in Bristoll aforesaid
and deliver him to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor
there, who are hereby required to provide for him according to
Law thereof Saite nor att yor Periles Given under one Hands
& Seales this Serwellth day of May Anno Died 1698

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor aforesd
and to all Constables Head borougly and others his Maties
Officers whom these may Concern
