Sitting on the bench att Hickshall in St John street Etc.

The humble Peticon & appeale of the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the poor of the Hamlett of
Wapping Stepney.

Sheweth


That the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor
of the Hamlett of Ratcliffe . By an order under the hands
& Seales of John Webber< no role > & Robert Bateman< no role > Esqr two of
his Majties Justices of the peace of this County have lately
Sent to us one Richard Thurlewind< no role > a distracted person, aledging
that hee is a settled Inhabitant of our Said Hamlett, whereas
in truth hee never had any legall Settlement there.

Your Peticons therefore most humbly Pray That
you will be pleased to Order the sd Churchwarden
& Overseers of the poor of Ratcliffe afforesd
to appeare here, And shew cause why they
Shall not abide the Judgment of this Honorble:
Court touching the Settlement of the said
