WHereas Complaint hath been unto Us, whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, Two ofhisMajesties Justices
of the Peace of the County ofMiddlx (Quorum ynus) by the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of theHamlett of
Bethnall Green in the Pish of Stepney in the said County,
thatThomas Ingersole< no role > and Sarah< no role > his wife and one
Child Martha Ingersole< no role > his daughter did

lately come into the saidHamlettendeavouring
to settlehimself & familythere, without giving Notice in Wri-
ting to the said Church-Wardens or Overseers of the Poor, or any
one of them, of the House ofhisabode in the
saidHamlettaccording to the Satute in that Case made and
provided; And thatthe said Thomas Ingersole< no role > , Sarah< no role >
his wife , and Martha< no role > (an Infant) his daughter are
likely to become chargeable to the saidHamlettAnd whereas
it appeareth unto Us the said Justices upon the Oath ofthe said
Thomas Ingersole< no role >
thathe be hislast legally settled in theHamlett of Milend
New Towne in the Parish of Stepney aforesaid where he was
an Inhabitant and Watched & Warded Severall times
There are therefore inhisMajesties Name straitly to Charge and
Command you and every of you, forthwith upon fight hereof to
remove and convey the saidThomas Ingersole< no role > Sarah his wife
& Martha his daughterfrom the saidHamlett of Bethnal Green
in the said County, and so from Constable to Constable the next and
directest way to the saidHamlett of Mile End New Towne

and deliverthemunto the Church-Wardens, and Overfeers of
the Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Hereof sail not at your Perils, Given under our
Hands and Seals, thefourteenthday ofDecember 1697
