Upon hearing the matter in difference between James Crafford< no role > of the
pish of St Giles in the feilds in their County Barber Chiruryeon and
Benjamin Hodson< no role > Junr his Apprentice concerning the discharge of
the said Apprentice from his Indenture of Apprenticehood In
the prsence of the said parties & their Councell Itt apprentice [..]
this Court that by Indenture bearing date the ninth day of
February 1692 the said Hodson was bound an Apprentice to
the said James Crafford for the terme & space of four years
only to learn the Art or mistery of a Barber Chirurgeon
and that the said Crafford doth use & exercise only the ar [..]
or trade of a Barber & periwigmaker & not any Chirurgeon
& often imoderately beaten his said Apprentice Where [..]
this Court was of opinion that the said Indenture is [..]
Lawe And doth therefore order that the said Benjamin
Hudson
< no role > be & he is hereby discharged of & from his said
Indenture of Apprenticehood to the said James Crafford
And the Justices of the peace whose hands & seals are
hereunto sett doe declare that for the reasons aforesaid
they have discharged & doe discharge the said Benjamin
Hodson
