WHereas Complaint hath been made unto Us, whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of Their Majesties Justices of
the Peace of the County of Middlesex (Quorum unus) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles in the
Fields in the said Country, thatDorothy Midgley< no role > Single
woman
islately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to settle
herselfthere without giving Notice in Writing to the
said Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor or any one of them
of the House ofheraboad in the said Parish, ac-
cording to the Statute in that Case made and provided; And that
she islikely to become chargeable to the
said Parish; And whereas it appeareth unto Us the said Justices upon
the Oath of the [..] [..] be th Simons
thatshe waslast legally setled in the Parish of
St Andrew Holborne in Midlex being there borne bred
and [..] St n all yeares setled
These are therefore in Their Majesties Name Straitly to Charge and
Command you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to
remove and convey the saidDorothy Midgley< no role >
from the said Parish of St. Giles in the Fields
in the said County, and so from Constable to Constable, the next and
directest way to the saidparish of St Andrew Holborne
in Midlex
and deliverherunto the Church-Wardens, and Overseers of
the Poor there, who are hereby required to provide [..]
according to Law: Hereof fail not at your Perills. Given under one
Hands and Seals, theSixthday ofAprill Ano
