Mr.. Henderson laid before the Court
the following Minutes of the Trustees of the
Turnpike West< no role > of Baber Bridge Vizt.

"Meeting of Trustees Eastern District
"Turnpike Road held at the Bush Staines the
"19th. May 1798.

"Present

"Rd. C. Cresswell< no role > Esqr.
"James Hutchinson< no role > Esqr.

"At this Meeting Mr.. Henderson
"Reported that upon a Survey taken by Mr.. Rogers
"the County Surveyor it appears that a sum a
"little short of Two hundred pounds would
"Substantially repair and Widen Baber Bridge
"on Hounslow Heath and make it very Commodious
"to the Public

"Resolved That the Treasurer of this
"Trust do advance One third of the Expence of
"widening and repairing the said Bridge provided
"the whole does not exceed £200. but such
"advance by no means to be Considered as
"admitting the liability of this Trust to advance
"any sum of Money towards the repair of the
"said Bridge
