Prison and without any Order from the Surgeon or
Apothecary .- I will not presume to say more on the
Subject being well assured that the Court will do all that
is proper on the Occasion

Ordered That in future no Persons be admitted
into the Prison to take the Charge of any Prisoner unless
appointed by and under the immediate Controul of the
Governor or by the special Order of this Court.

By adjournment same day.

The Treasurer of the County having laid before the
Court a State of the Account of the High Constables

Ordered That the several High Constables now in
Arrear do attend this Court on Saturday next at One
o Clock with an Account of the deficiencies of the several
Parishes now in Arrear.

By adjournment same day.

It Appearing to this Court that Payments made
for the relief of the families of Militia Men, subsequent
to the Death Desertion or Discharge of the Principals or
Substitutes have been reimbursed by the Treasurer of this
County thro ignorance having no means of Information
until after the respective Parishes are called upon to
reimburse him, Sums paid on Account of the families
of Substitutes, The Court having duly considered such
matters, do hereby Authorize and require the Treasurer.
