Buildings (except the Groins) and the remaining part of the
Carcase of those Buildings, and the Groins which was not to be
begun till the Carcase was compleated; should be built and the
whole Building should be compleated in the Third year.

That if the directions above set forth had been comply'd
with the whole of the Fir Timber contained in your Petitioners
Contract would have been delivered and compleated in the year 1789
but from the necessary Works in digging out and piling the
Foundations and other unforeseen events your Petitioners Contract was
not compleated till the year 1793 which is Four years longer than it
ought to have been

That during the last Four years that your Petitioners have
been employed in the said Buildings there has been on an Average
an Advance in the price and freight of Timber of upwards of Sixteen
Shillings & eight pence per load and that during that time your
Petitioners have used Two Hundred and six load and three Quarters
which at P Load advance price amounts to One Hundred and Seventy
two Pounds five shillings and ten pence.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray
your Worships to allow them the Sum of One
Hundred and Seventy two Pounds five shillings
and ten pence to make good the loss so by them
sustained as aforesaid in consequence of the
conditions in the printed Particulars not having
been comply'd with
