And the Court being informed that Mr Gibbs the
Apothecary was attending relative to the Bills for Necessaries delivered
to the Sick prisoners in the New prison
and House of Correction
at,
Clerkenwell
which Bills the said Committee of Accounts had observed
were of late considerably increased And Mr Gibbs having suggested
to the Court that he thought he should be able to devise a means of
conducting that business for the time to come which would be attended
to the most advantage to the prisoners and the least expence to the
County Resolved that the further Consideration of this matter
be referred to the Committee of Accounts and that Mr Gibbs be
summoned to attend the said Committee at their next Meeting
By Adjournment Same day.
Resolved that Thomas Aris< no role >
be permitted to
serve the prisoners in the New prison
and House of Correction at
Clerkenwell
with Bread until the County day of the next Session.
