Workman employed
in Alterations at New
prison under the direction
of the Sheriff for the same
Security of his prisoners
therein not to expert
paymt. from the Gents.}

It being represented unto this Court that several Alterations
had been made in New Prison at Clerkenwell under the direction of the
Sheriff of this County for the accommodation of the Sheriffs Debtors thereon
confined It is Ordered that the several Workmen and Tradesmen
employed in the making the said Alterations be informed that His Majestys
Justices of the peace will not be answerable for the charges thereby incurred
that they must look to their employers for payment of their respective demand

Persons having demands
upon the County to
deliver their accounts
to the Clk of the peace
on or before the thursday

each Session.}

It is Ordered that all Persons who shall have any
demands on this County (except those whose demands are governed by special
Contract) to deliver their Accounts to the Clerk of the Peace on or before the
Thursday preceeding the County day of each Session immediately after the
time such demand shall become due to the end that all Demands may be
known and adjusted every Session.

Resolved it be and it is hereby recommended to the
Rent Sir George Booth< no role > Bart . to enquire into the cause of Complaint and
report his opinion thereof on the adjournment day.
