Your Petitioner therefore prays that
Your Worships will be pleased to lower the Rent of
the Tap in his Occupation to Twenty Pounds per
Annum during the present War he being very
willing to pay the same for it as he does now whe [..]
peace shall be again Established or to acquierer i [..]
whatever may seem meet to Your Worships in the
premises

And Your Petitioner a sin duty
bound shall ever pray Etc.

It is Ordered that the said Petition be and the same is hereby
referred to the Committee appointed to carry into immediate and effectual
Execution the Repair of New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell to Examine
into the truth of the allegations contained in the same to consider whether
any and what abatement should be made in the rent of the said Tap and
report their Opinion thereof to his Majestys Justices of the peace on the County
day of the next General Sessions of the peace to be holden for this County

By adjournment same day

This Court being informed that the Committee
appointed "to Consider how the number of Justices who may receive Wages
"for attending the Sessions of the peace for this County came to be limited to
"Twenty four and whether any and what addition ought to be demanded
"and to whom an Application for such addition ought to be made and to
"report their opinion thereof." were not pursuant to their Order of reference
ready to report their Opinion here this day and that they required further
time for what purpose It is Ordered that the time of the Report of the
said Committee be and the same is hereby Enlarged to the County day of
the General Session of the peace now next Ensuing

By adjournment same day

They Clerk of the peace having informed the Court that
his Grace the Duke of Northumberland before whom the Memorial
determined at the General Session of the peace held for this County in the
Month of September last to be presented to the Lords Commissioners
of his Majestys Treasury in respect of the fees due to the several Officer [..]
of the Court for the every Offender who shall be sentenced to hard Labour
on the River Thames had been laid for his approbation had approved
thereof Ordered that Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight The Reverend Sir
