the allowance made to him for executing the said Contract and
appearing to the Committee that the allegations in the said Pe [..]
were true That the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. had for some time un [..]
his appointment two hundred and fifty pounds per annum [..]
that in consequence of the then cheapness of Hay and Straw he had
about two years ago relinquised fifty pounds per Annum part [..]
said two hundred and fifty pounds and that he now has but two
hundred pounds per annum allowed him for executing the said
Contract that the price of Hay and Straw is now vastly increased
that his expences are nearly equal to the advantages derived [..]
his contract The Committee do recommend it to the Court to allow [..]

conveying Vagrants in this' and out of this County pursuant to

do from the date here of pay unto Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. Contractor for
conveying Vagrants in through and out of the County of Midd [..]
the Sum of Fifty pounds per annum in addition to his present
annual allowance of two hundred pounds in the same proportion
and at the same periods as his present allowance is paid unto him
until further order and that the Receipts of the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591.
together with this order shall be a sufficient discharge to the [..]
Treasurer for such payments

This Court being informed that Hester< no role > the widow of William
Fosbrook
< no role > Baker who had been appointed to Supply the Poor
Prisoners confined in New Prison at Clerkenwell and the House
of Correction there with Bread under the orders of the Court was
lately Married toHolmes and he saidHolmes
having applied to be permitted to serve the said Prisons as the
said Hester Fosbrook< no role > his now Wife had done It is ordered that
the saidHolmes be and he is hereby appointed one of the
Bakers to the said Prisons during the pleasure of the Court

This Court being informed that the Bread allowed to the [..]
Prisoners in New Prison and Clerkenwell Bridewell is the fine [..]
wheaten Bread and It being the General opinion that House hold
Bread is much more wholsome and nutritive It is ordered the
