By Adjournment Thursday 15th October 1775

The order of the day being called for

The Deputy Clerk of the peace reported that pursuant
to the order of last Session notice had been publickly given to the
Gentlemen in the Commission of the peace for this County by
advertisement as also individually by Letter that the report of the Session
House Committee would be taken into Consideration this day and the
said Advertisement being produced and the Report of the said
Committee called for and the same being read It was Moved
and Seconded that the Court do agree with the Report of the Committee
and after some debate upon holding up of hands there appeared for
the Question Twelve against it Twenty Two whereupon the Question
was declared to be carried in the Negative And immediately
afterwards it was Moved and Seconded that the Session House
for their County be built on the present Seite-but afr. much
debate this Question was by leave withdrawn whereupon It was
Moved and Seconded and Resolved that the Gentlemen in
the Commission of the peace for this County be Summoned to meet
on the County day of the next Session to take into Consideration
the Order of Court made on the County day of December Session
last whereby it was Resolved that the Session House should not
be built on the Seite whereon the present one Stands

By adjournment same day

It being reported to this Court that the address form
the Justices which was agreed at the last Session to be presented to
the King was Signed by a very considerable number and that the
same ought now to be presented and the Chairman having signified
that it would be the more agreeable when it should be presented
that the same should be carried up to the Throne in a private
manner It was Ordered that it it should be and is hereby
