Removal or carrying away shall and may be deducted and
abated out of the Money that shall become due and Payable
to the said Richard Jupp< no role > his Executors admors or assigne
for the said Exections Repairs or Works And the said
Richard Jupp< no role > for himself his Executors and Admors
doth hereby further Covenant Contract promise and agree to and
with the said John Hawkins< no role > Sir Henry Cheere George
Errington Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Benjamin Cowley their
Executors and Administrators that he the said Richard Jupp< no role > his
Executors or Administrators shall and will on or before the
Sixth day of Aprilnext begin to Erect the foot path
and repair the Bridge aforesaid and diligently and without
delay Attend proceed and Carry on the Works necessary for that
Purpose And shall and will well and sufficiently Erect and
repair the same with such Good and Sound Timber of such
Sort and scantlings as shall be directed or approved of by
the said Boulton Mainwairing< no role > Esquire or such other [..]
Surveyor as aforesaid and shall and will Compleat and
finish all the said Work on or before the Firstday of
September next coming In Consideration whereof the
said John Hawkins< no role > Sir Henry Cheere< no role > George Errington< no role >
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Benjamin Cowley< no role > for them selves
their Executors and Admors Do Covenant promise and Agree to and with the said Richard Jupp< no role > his Executors and admors that he and they shall be paid
Satisfyed and Allowed out of the Monies already raised or to be
Raised by Virtue of an Act of Parliament Passed in the twelfth
Year of the Reign of his late Majesty King George the second
Intituled an Act for the more easy Assessing Collecting and
levying of County Rates for all such good seasoned and Fit
Materials provided wrought up used and Employed in or about Erecting the
said Foot Path or Bridge and the Repairs and Work as aforesaid at and after
the several rates and prices aforesaid within the space of
after the same shall be Completed and finished as aforesaid and
measured And the Measurement Certifyed to the said John Hawkins< no role >
