General or General Quarter Session of the Peace for the said County
shall appoint and the said Richard Jupp< no role > for himself his
Executors and admors doth further Covenant Contract promise and
Agree to and with the said John Hawkins< no role > Sir Henry Cheere< no role > .
George Errington< no role > , Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Benjamin Cowley< no role >
their Executors and admors by these presents that all and every
part of the said Erections Repairs and Work necessary to be done
and performed shall be Executed Performed compleated and
finished in the best Workmanlike and substantial manner and
of and with the best Materials of every kind and all the Timber
cut Square without Sap or Wain as aforesaid under the direction
and inspection and to the Satisfaction of the said Boulton Mainwaring< no role >
Esquire or such other Surveyor as shall be Appointed as aforesaid
And that if any Materials of any sort or kind shall at any time be
brought to the said Bridge to be used in or about the said Erections
Repairs or Works which in the Judgment of such Surveyor shall
not be good and fit for the use intended that then and in very such
Case the some shall not be used in the said Work but shall be
forthwith removed and taken away at the Costs and Charges of the
said Richard Jupp< no role > his Executors or Admors And also that if upon
Notice in Writing to be given by such Surveyor to the said Richard
Jupp his Executors or admors or the foreman or head Servant
Employed in or about the said Work or Business for the Removing
and Carrying away the same defective and unfit materials the same
shall not forthwith be carried away from the promisses that then
it shall and may be lawfull to and for such Surveyor to remove
Cart and Carry away the same to such place or places as he
shall think proper without his or the said John Hawkins< no role > Sir Henry
Cheere George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Benjamin
Cowley
< no role > being any wise answerable or accountable to the said Richard
Jupp his Executors aditions or assigns for any loss or Damage that
shall or may happen to the same after any such Removal and
Further that the Charges and Expences of or attending such
