Toll being assigned over to him for the remainder of the Term mentioned
in his former Contract and were the Toll to Produce more than £100 P
Ann. after certain and incident charges to be deducted Mist was to account
for the Overplus at the End of his Term but as it was Expected the Toll
would fall short of £100 P Ann. the Committee agreed in such case
to apply to Parliament for power to levy what should be sufficient of £100.
on the Inhabitants who should have benefit of the said Toll so that the
Commissioners was at no Expence concerning the obtaining such power
and they promised to use their Interest with the Court to make up Mists
Term 25 Years from Lady day then next but that they had not removd
the Toll posts because the whole limits mentioned in the said Act had
not been made appear to them
An Order of the same date made on the said report
whereby the same was ratified and confirmed and the Reports therein
mentioned agreed to and the Collector empowered to pay all the Monies
arising by the Toll unto Mist or his Executors
An Order of the 29th. April 1731 appointing a
standing Committee to Oversee the Pavement and Repair of the
Haymarket
An Order of the 3d. June 1731 made on perusing
the Accounts of Mr. Weaver
for him to have the balance in his hands
to the Treasurer to be disposed of as the Court should order at the next
Session
An Order of the 6th. May 1736 for Mr. Weaver
to
lay an Account of the Monies which had been received and paid
by him to John Mist< no role >
under the Contract and for Mr Higgs the general
Treasurer
to lay before the Court an account of what sums he had
received on Account of the said Toll
An Order of the 17th. February 1736 appointing a
standing Committee to see to the repair of the Haymarket
