or cause to be paid unto the Clerk of the Peace of the said County for the time
being or his Deputy all such Fees as the said John Stoddart< no role > or his respective
Servant or Servants shall or without his or their wilful default may during
the time he shall continue Governor or Keeper of the said House of Correction
receive for the use of such & the of the Peace of any Prisoner or Prisoners comitted
or to be Committed to the said House of Correction And also allow unto the
Matron of [..] House of Correction for the time being the Appartment
therein formerly and now allowed to the Matrons thereof And that in Case
the said John stoddart< no role > shall be displaced and discharged from the said
Office or Employment of Governor or Keeper of the said House of Correction
by order of the Justices of the Peace for the said County to be Assembled
in their General Quarter or General Sessions or the Major part of them
that then he the said John Stoddart< no role > shall forth with Peaceably deliver
and Quit the Possession of the said House of Correction Together wth. the Goods Utensils & Fixtrest Col to this County which shall be
specified in the Inventory or account annexed to the Bond herein after
mentioned to which Inventory or Account the said John stoddart< no role >
is to Subscribe his name And also all such other Goods and utensills
as shall hereafter be bought or Provided and Placed in the said House
of Correction at the Charge of the said County (and which are to be,
added to the said Inventory or account in good Plight or condition
reasonable use and wearing thereof excepted) together with the Prisoners
committed to his Custody as Governor or Keeper of the said House of
Correction and then remaining undischarged in such manner & to
such Person or Persons as he shall be requested to do by any order
of General Quarter or General Sessions of the Peace for the said County
And also that he the said John Stoddart< no role > do forthwith enter into a Bond
or Obligation unto Thomas Lane< no role > Esquire George Errington< no role > Esqr . and
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esqr . in the Penal Sum of five hundred Pound
with such Condition as is above written or to such or the like Effect.
And also with Condition that in Case the said John Stoddart< no role > shall,
continue keeper of the said House of Correction untill the time of his
Death That then the Executors or Administrators of the said John
Stoddart
