And fifty Six And the said John Wilkins< no role > being desirous to
Enter into Articles for the keeping of the said Bridge in repair
for the Term of Twenty One Years from the twenty ninth
Day of September last past for the said Sum of Nine Pounds
Yearly in every Year to be paid to him the said John Wilkins< no role >
for the keeping the said Bridge in repair Now these
Present Articles Witness And the said John Wilkins< no role > for
himself his Executors and Administrators Doth Covenant promise
and agree to and with the said Justices and the Survivors and
Survivor of them and the Executors and Administrators of such
Survivor in consideration of the yearly Sum of nine Pounds
of lawful Money of Great Britain to be paid Unto him the
said John Wilkins< no role > his Executors or Administrators by Order of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of the said County out of the
Publick Moneys raised or to be raised on the Inhabitants of
the said County called a County Rate for the Term of twenty
one Years to be computed from the Twenty ninth Day of
September last past yearly in every year on the twenty
ninth day of September in every year yearly that he the
said John Wilkins< no role > his Executors or Administrators shall and
will well and Substantially repair amend and maintain
the said pavement of the said Bridge with all and all
manner of needful and Necessary Reparation and
Amendments when and as often as Necessity shall be
for the full Term of twenty one years from the twenty
Ninth day of September last past and fully to be compleat
and ended and leave the same in good and Substantial
repair at the End of the said Term of twenty one Years And
that in Case the said John Wilkins< no role > his Executor or Administers
shall at any time or times neglect to repair and amend
any part of the said pavement of the said Bridge within
Six days after notice in Writing delivered to or left him
or them by any two or more Justices of the Peace of the said
County appointed a Standing committee by Order of Court
in that behalf to repair and amend the same such pavement
shall or may be repaired by Order of any two of such
Committee and the Costs charges & Expences there of shall be from time
to time deducted out of the next year or yearly payments which shall become
due to the said John Skins< no role > his Executor or administer out of the said yearly
sum of nine pounds In Witness whereof the sd John Wilkins< no role > hath here unto set his hand & Seal
