Whereas it has been represented to this Court that divers
unlawfull Combinations Confederacies and Conspiracies have
been lately entred into by the Journeymen in divers trades
and Manufactures within the Weekly Bills of
Mortality in this County to aug [..] ment their Wages
and lessen their Hours of Labour whereby the Trades
of the Kingdom may be greatly injured and the
too general Dissoluteness of such Journeymen in-
creased contrary to the Laws and Statutes of
this Realin. And Whereas the Meetings
for these unlawful purposes have been general
ly held at Licensed public Houses and such
Meetings advertized in the News Papers This
Court taking the Premisses into their serious
Consideration are determined to suppress such
Practises by Putting the Laws into Vigerous Execu-
tion against all Persons entring into unlawful
Combinations in the Premisses And this Court
doth recommend it to the Magistrates of the Sevl.
Divisions to Sumon before them the Keepers of
Such Licensed Houses who have Suffered Such
Combinations to be carried on therein and ac-
quaint Such Publicans that the Permitting Such
unlawful Practises will be deemed a breach of
the good Order required to be kept by their Recog-
nizances and such persons will not be intrusted
with any future Licence.

Ordered that 500 Copies of the foregoing Order be Printed
and posted up in proper Places by the Cryer of this
Court on his Assistant and that it be also inserted
in the 3 news Papers called the Daily Advertiser the
Gazetteer & Public Advertizer of Saturday next if possible
and contined as this Court Shall further direct at the Charge of
this County and His Majesty's Justices will give Orders for Satis-
fying and paying such Charge.
