Forward none of his Servants in ordinary with kee be in forced or any way
obliged to bear any publick officers, Serve on Juries or Inquests Watch or
Ward in any Place where they dwell or else where nor Subject to any
Mulet or Fine for not submitting there into and the Lord Chamberlain of his
Majesty's Household and in his Absence his Majesty's officers office Green
Cloth for the Servants below stairs And the Master of the House for the Servants
belonging to the Stables are hereby Authorized and required to take
a special Care that this his majesty's Pleasure be duly observed and put in
Exceution And that his Majesty's attorney General for the time being be
and he is herby Authorized and required upon any application made
to him by any of the majesty's Servants in Ordinary with Fee to cause
a stop to be put to all Proceedings already had or to be commenced against
them or any of them for refusing to Watch or Serve on Inrys or bear or
Under go any publick office or Employment abovementioned and this
Majesty doth here by further Order, that Copies of this order be left
with the respective Clerks of the Peace of the City's of London and
Westminister and Counties of Middlesex and Surry to be kept to
amongst the Records of this Majestiy's Sessions to the Intent that
due Obedience may be given there into and his servants may not
be boxed with in reasonable Proceedings

To Pay Mr. Adams £3:0s:3d

It is Ordered by this court that Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County
do pay to Mr. James Sturges Adams< no role > three pounds and three pence in
full of his Account for the Subsistence of Vagrants to this Day And that
the Receipt of the said James Sturges Adames together with this Order
shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for such
Payment.
