for this County who shall meet before the next Session.

Report that he had made a Calculation and Estimate of the
Charge it will be to this County to make and Compleat the
Proposed Buildings and Alterations at the Goals or Prisons
called the New Prison
and House of Correction
at Clerkenwell
in this County According to the Request of His Majesty's
Justices Assembled in the last Session the Amount of which
Calculation or Estimate is £230. or thereabout (Exclusive
of several necessary Repairs of the said Prisons) Whereupon
it is hereby Referred to His Majesty's Justices of the peace
for this County who shall meet on the County Day of the near
Session to Consider further of the said Alterations and how and
out of what Fund the Money for Paying and Discharging of
the same can be Raised And in the mean time it is directed
that the Grand Inquest for this County now Assembled in this
present Session do take a View of the said Goals or Prisons in
Order to presents the State and Condition of the same And of
what is fit to be done in Pursuance of the Act of Parliament
in that behalf And that what Presentment shall be made
Concerning the same be laid before the said Court by the Clerk
of the peace of this County.
