Letter to Mr. B Cox.

It is Ordered by this Court that the Clerk of the peace of this
County do forthwith write a Letter to Benjamin Cox< no role > Esquire
One of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for this County to Dine
with His Majesty's sd. Justices of the peace on the County Day of the
next Session on account of a Complaint this Day made to
this Court by Richard Hassell< no role > of Barnet Esqr one other of
His Majesty's said Justices relating to the passing of
Vagrants.

George Wrighte< no role > Esqr One of His Majesty's Justices of the
peace of this County having been wrote to by James
Waller
< no role > Esqr Clerk of the peace of this Comity to dine here
upon this Day by order of the Court on the County Day
of last Session in order to Answer a complaint of
his having granted Warrant against Hugh Rockett< no role > , his
Wife and several others whose persons were therein mentd.
to be well known but whose names were unknown being
irregular & illegal He sent answer thereto in excuse thereof
and among other things intimates that he shall carefully avoid
for the future granting Warrants of that Latitude Which
Letter of the said Mr. Wrighte is by this Court deem'd Satisfac-
tory and the said matter of Complaint is hereby dismissed.

Abel Aldridge< no role > Gent . High Constable within the hundred of
Elthorne in this County presenting to this Court an Account of Money
by him disbursed upon twenty Certificates of Vagrant passes the first
whereof is dated the fifth of March 1758. and the last dated the 17th.
of March last amounting in the Whole to Eight pounds twelve
Shillings and Six PenceandWhich he prays may be allowed
unto him Whereupon it is Ordered by this Court that Mr John
Higgs the Treasurer of [..] County do pay or allow the sd. Sum
of £8..12.. 6 to the said High Constable in full of his sd. Accot
And that his Receipt togr with order shall be a discharge to
the said Treasurer for such payment.
