By adjournment on Thursday the eighth day of December 1757

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay 11.12.6 to Mr. Henry
Wallbanck for the maintenance
of Vagrants and Interment of
Prisoners.

A Bill of Mr. Henry Wallbanck< no role > Keeper of the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell in this County for moneys by him laid out for the Maintenance and
Subsistance of Vagabonds who had been committed to the said Prison amounting
to the Sum of Six pounds seven shillings and six pence and also another Bill
of the said Mr. Wallbanck for moneys by him paid for the Interment of
Prisoners who died in the said Prison amounting to the Sum of five pounds
and five shillings being produced before this Court And it appearing unto
this Court that the said Bills have been examined and that the same are
just and right It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of this County do pay the said Sums of Six pounds seven shillings and six
pence and five pounds and five shillings amounting to eleven pounds twelve
shillings and six pence unto the said Mr. Wallbanck in full of his said
Demands whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient
Discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £2.8s.9d to the Church
wardens & Overseers of Saint
Clement Danes for the Lying
in of Mary Allestone a
Vagrant and Maintenance of
her Son an Infant.

Application being made unto this Court by the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middx praying to
be reimbursed the Sum of two pounds eight shillings and nine pence by them
disbursed and paid concerning the Lying in of Mary Allestone a Vagrant who
was delivered of a Child in the said Parish in her Passage to Old Town in
the County of Devon the place of her last legal Settlement and for the
Maintenance of her Son Thomas an Infant of four Years of Age during
the time of the Lying in of the said Mary Allestone< no role > his Mother This
Court upon Consideration had of the premisses doth Order that Mr. John
Higgs Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of two pounds
eight shillings and nine pence unto the said Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor and that the Receipt of them or one of them shall be a
sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.

By adjournment on Thursday the eighth day of December 1757.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay 57s. to the Inspectors
of the distempered Cattle.

An Account being laid before this Court by the Inspectors appointed to put
a Stop to the Spreading of the Distemper raging amongst the Horned Cattle
in this County of moneys alledged to be due to them for their Service
amounting to the Sum of Fifty Seven pounds which Account is as followeth
