By adjournment on Thursday the eighth day of December 1757 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay 4d. to Mr. White for
Firing.

It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do
pay unto Mr. John White< no role > House-keeper of Hicks Hall the Sum of four pounds
for two years Allowance for Firing by him provided in the Great Room at
Hicks Hall at the several Meetings of the Justices concerning the
Distempered Cattle from the twentieth day of October 1755 to the twenty fourth
day of October 1757 And that the Receipt of the said Mr. White together
with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for
such payment.

By adjournment on Thursday the eighth day of December 1757

Order appointing a
Committee to view Chertsea
Bridge Etc.

It is Ordered by this Court that it to be and it is hereby recommended and
refused unto Sir Philip Musgrave< no role > Bart . George Cooke< no role > George Errington< no role >
Boulton Mainwaring Bartholomew Hammond Stephen Clarke< no role > Edmund
Byron
< no role > and Thomas Wood< no role > Esqrs . Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middx or any two or more of them as a Committee to meet together on
Friday the twenty third day of December instant to view the State and
Condition of a certain publick Bridge called Chertsea Bridge and to give
Directions for the immediate Repair of such part of the same Bridge
as they shall judge necessary to be immediately repaired And the said
Committee are desired to make their Report of what they shall have
ordered to be done and what may be further necessary to be done
towards the Repair of the said Bridge to the Court of the next General
Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County on the
County day of the same Session.

Order for Mrs. Higgs Trearer
to pay 7s.6d to John Rutter< no role >
one of the Bedels of Saint
Clement Danes for maintaining
Vagrant Etc

John Rutter< no role > one of the Bedels of the Parish of St. Clement Danes in this
County having laid before this Court a Bill of his Charges for two Days
Maintenance for Jane Watts< no role > a Vagrant and three Children and for a Coach to
Clerkenwell Bridewell and waiting and for one days Maintenance for
Mary Blend< no role > and William Ruker< no role > Vagrants amounting to the Sum of Seven
shillings and six pence which he prays to be paid unto him and it
appearing unto this Court that the said Bill is just and reasonable It is
Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay
the said Sum of Seven shillings and six pence unto the said John Rutter< no role >
in full of his said Demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall be
a sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment.
