By adjournment on Thursday the third day of June 1756.

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay £55. to pay the Inspectors
of the Distempered Cattle.

An Account being laid before this Court by the Inspector appointed to endeavour to
put a Stop to the Spreading of the Distemper amongst the Horned Cattle in this County
of moneys alledged to be due to them for their Service the Total of which Account
amounts to the Sum of fifty five pounds which Account is as followeth

And it appearing to this Court by Writing under the hands of Bartholomew
Hammond Francis Bedwell George Greene and Philip Dyot< no role > Esqrs . four of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County that they have examined the
said Account and that there is due to the said Inspectors the said Sum of fifty
five pounds It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trearer
of this County do when he shall have sufficient money in his hands Pay to the said Inspectors respectively the respective Sums
of money abovementioned written over against their respective Names
amounting to the said Sum of fifty five Pounds And that the respective
Receipts of the said Inspectors together with this Order shall be a
sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment

By adjournment on Thursday the third day of June 1756

Coroner on Account of taking
Inquisitions

A List of Inquisitions being produced before this Court by George Grew< no role > Esqr . one of
the Coroners of this County therein mentioning the same to be taken on view of Dead
Bodies in the said County since the twelfth day of October One thousand seven hundred
and fifty five and chargeable on the said County Pursuant to an Act of Parliament
made in the twenty fifth Year of King George the second which List begins on the
twenty third day of October aforesaid and ends on the twenty sixth day of April last
therein mentioning the Dead Bodies viewed to be thirty five in number and that there
is due to the said Coroner the Sum of forty one pounds and nine Shillings for his
Fees and for the number of Miles by him travelled on Account of taking the said
Inquisitions And it appearing unto this Court by Writing under the Hands of
Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Stephen Clarke< no role > and Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqrs . three of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County that they have examined the said
List and that there is due to the said Coroner the said Sum of forty one pounds and nine
Shillings It is thereupon Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trearer of this County do
when he shall have sufficient money in his hands pay the said Sum of forty one Pounds
and nine Shillings unto the said Coroner in full of his Said Demand whose Receipt
together with his Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the said Trearer for
Such Payment.
