October next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to inspect to inspect the Accounts of
Edward Umfreville< no role > Esqr . and George Grew< no role > Esqr . Coroners for the said County of the
moneys alledged to be due to them on account of taking Inquisitions on view of
Dead Bodies in the said County and to state how much in their Opinion ought to be
allowed to each of them And also to inspect the Account of Mr. John Lane as
Clerk to the Justices appointed to prevent the Spreading of the Distemper
amongst the Horned Cattle in this County for his Disbursements Attendances and
Business done in relation thereto and to see if the Sums therein charged are
just and reasonable and what Sum of money in the whole is in their Opinion
reasonable and fit to be allowed to the said Mr. Lane upon his said Account
and to make their Report touching the premisses on the County day of the
next Session.

By Adjournment On Thursday the eleventh day of September 1755 .

The Humble Petition of John White< no role > was delivered into the
Court which was read And is as follows. (to wit)

To the Worshipful the chairman and the rest of the Justices
of the peace for the county of Middlesex assembled at Hicks's
Hall in St. John Street in and for the said County at their
General Session in the Month of September 1755.

Sheweth

That Your Petitioner being informed that the place
of Cayer and Housekeeper at Hicks's Hall in St. John's Street
in the said County of Middlesex is in the Disposal of your Worships
at your will and pleasure

And also being informed that Mrs. Susannah Northcote< no role >
the last appointed Cryer and Housekeeper at Hicks Hall
aforesaid has lately intermarried with one Mr. Robert Shole< no role >
whereby the said place (at your worships pleasure) may
become Vacant

Your Petitioner therefore humbly prays your
worships that if the said place shall become
Vacant upon that or any other Account That upon a
worships will be pleased to appoint Your Petitioner
to be Cryer and Housekeeper (instead of the said
Mrs. Northcote) who will carefully and diligently
execute the said office of Cryer and Housekeeper
and as in Duty bound shall ever pray for yours
worships
