By adjournment on Tuesday the 16th. day of April, 1751 .

Order for reducing the
Sessions be of 6s.8d. as being
too much to 3s.4d. and that
2s. Only be taken for drewing
Copy & delivering Notice of
an Indictment to a Deft.}

This Court observing that Attorneys & Sollicitors practising at the
Sessions of the Peace for the County of Middx who have been concerned
for Persons Standing Indicted at Such Sessions, or for the Prosecutors of
Persons Indicted there have frequently in their Bills charged Six Shillings
and eight pence each Sessions as a Sessions Fee, This Court being of
opinion that the Same is too much Doth Order that the Said Sum of Six
Shillings and eight pence be reduced to three Shillings and four pence, and
that no greater Sum than three Shillings and four pence be allowed or
taken by any Attorney or Sollicitor practising in this Court for his Sessions
fee, And this Court Doth further Order that no greater Sum than two
Shillings be allowed or taken for drawing Copy and delivering Notice in
writing to any Defendant of his or her being Indicted at the Session of
the Peace for the Said County.

giving Notice to Workmen
to leave their Proposalls
for the repairing Chertsea
Bridge}

Whereas that Part of Chertsea. Bridge which is in the County of Middlesex ,
being Very much damaged, and being a County Bridge, is to be repaired
at the Costs and Charges of the Inhabitants of the Said County, This
Court Pursuant to the Statute in Such Case made and provided, do
give Notice to all workmen that Ore Willing to contract for repairing
the said Bridge, that a Particular of the Repairs wanting and Necessary
to be done to the said Bridge is left with Mr. John Higgs< no role > , Treasurer
of the said County, at his House in Southampton Buildings ,
Chancery Lane , where may Workmen may apply. and take a Copy of
the said Particular, in order to make their Proposals for the doing
the said Several Works therein Specified, And such Workmen as Shall
be willing to contract for the Reparation of the said Bridge, are
desired to leave their Proposals Sealed up, with the said Mr. Higgs,
On or before the eighth Day of May next.

of Chertsea Bridge Etc}

Whereas by An Order of General Quarter Sessions of the peace for the
County of Middx of the Seventeenth day of January last It was
(Amongst other things) Ordered that the Matters therein mentioned.
Necessary to be done for the Security of the Middx part of Chertsea
Bridge in the said County (which was Very much out of repair
And part thereof in danger of falling) Should be forthwith
done & performed, And it was desired by the Court of the Same
