Order for appointing Mr.
John Barnes< no role > of Enfield
High Constable within the
Hundred of Edmonton in
the place & Stead of Mr.
Tho: Jermaine< no role > & Mr.
John Dutton< no role > .}

Whereas by an Order made at the last General Session of the Peace
holden for the County of Middx by adjournment on Thursday the
first day of March last Mr. Thomas Jermaine< no role > was appointed to be
High Constable within the Hundred of Edmonton in this County
in the Place and Stead of Mr. John Dutton< no role > , and was Ordered to
take his Oath for the due Execution of the Said Office of High Constable
Now upon application made unto this Court for excusing and
discharging the Said Thomas Jermaine< no role > from Serving the Said
Office of High Constable, This Court upon Several Reasons offered
Doth appoint Mr. John Barnes< no role > of Enfield within the Hundred of
Edmonton to be High Constable within the Same Hundred And
doth Order that the Said John Barnes< no role > do forthwith (after Notice to
him given of this Order) attend and take his Oath before Pierce
Galliard Esqr. or Some other of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
of this County residing in or near the Said Hundred for his due
Execution of the Office of High Constable within the Same Hundred
And from and after the time of his having taken Such Oath the
Said John Dutton< no role > & Thomas Jermaine< no role > are each of them to be
absolutely discharged from being High Constable within the
Hundred of Edmonton aforesaid.

By adjournment on Thursday the 26th. day of April, 1750.

Order concerning Henry
Broadhead Esqr.}

Upon reading a Letter from Henry Broadhead< no role > Esqr . intimating
that by reason of his Illness and Indisposition he is not able to
attend at this present Session concerning a Representation drawn
up against him to the Lord Chancellor touching Same Misdemeanors
alledged to have been by him Committed in relation to his Office of
a Justice of the Peace of this County, It is Ordered that the
Consideration of the Said Representation be [..] ferral until the
next General Session of the Peace to be holden for this County, And
this Court doth Resolve to proceed concerning the Said Representation
on the County day of the Same Session whether the Said Mr.
Broadhead be present or not.
