By adjournment on Thursday the Sixth Day of July, 1749 .

Order for Mr. Higgs the
Trearer to pay Several
Sums of Money to the
Inspectors appointed
concerning the distempered
Cattle.}

A. Report being made unto this Court (One tenus) by Richard
Ricards James Clitherow< no role > & Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esquires
being a Quorum of the Committee of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the
Peace of this County in this behalf appointed to inspect the
Account of Moneys alledged to be due to the Inspectors appointed
to use their Endeavours to put a Stop the Spreading of the
Distemper amongst the horned Cattle, in this County for their
Labour & Paines about the Same, It appeareth to this
Court that the Said Committee have examined the Said
Account and find the Same to be true, In which Account it
is mentioned that there are due to the Said Inspectors (to wit)

Joseph Walker< no role > from the 8th. of December
1748 exclusive to the 6th. of April 1749
inclusive being 119 days at 5s. a day}£29.15s.0d

Edward Tomkins< no role > from Ditto to Ditto
at Ditto}£29.15s.0d

Thomas Lane< no role > from Ditto to Ditto
at Ditto}£29.15s.0d

John Westbrooke< no role > from Ditto to Ditto
at 2s.6d.}£14.17s.6d

To Ditto for business done by him between
the 23d. of April 1748 and the 15th. of October
1748 during which time he was not an
employed as an Inspector}£1.5s.0d

This Court being Satisfyed of the truth of the Premisses
Doth Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay
unto the respective Inspectors above named the Said respective
Sums of Money written over against their respective Names
which Sums together amount in the whole to the Sum of one
hundred and five Pounds Seven Shillings and Six pence,
And the respective Receipts of the Said respective Inspectors
together with this Order Shall be Sufficient Discharges to the
Said Treasurer for Such respective payments,
