It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trearer
of the County of Middx do pay unto Mr. John Daniel< no role > Deputy
Cryer of this Court the Sum of eighteen Shillings and Six pence
allowed to him by this Court for his trouble & pains in
posting up in divers places in the Said County a great
many printed Copys of the Orders of Sessions made for the
Suppressing of Unlawfull Fairs, And that the Receipt of the
Said John Daniel< no role > together with this Order Shall be a
Sufficient Discharge to the Said Treasurer for Such
payment.

By adjornment on Thursday the thirteenth Day of October
1748, before Thomas Lane< no role > Francis Hole< no role > John Lawton< no role >
Walter Berry< no role > Esqrs . and others.

to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of St.
Clement Danes for Charges
on Accot. of Mary Saunders< no role >
a Vagrant.}

Upon the humble Petition of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Clement Danes in this County
exhibited unto this Court Setting forth that Mary Saunders< no role >
Singlewoman a Vagrant not having a Settlement in the
Said Parish of St. Clement Danes was on the twentieth
Day of August last delivered of a female Bastard Child
near Burleigh Street in the Strand in the Said Parish of
St. Clement Danes by means whereof the Inhabitants of
the Said Parish were obliged necessarily to expend the
Sum of two Pounds for the lyeing in and Maintenance of
the Said Mary Saunders< no role > and Child, And that in pursuance
of an Act of Parliament made in the Seventeenth Year of
his present Majesty's Reign Intitled An Act to amend and
make more Effectual the Laws relating to Rogues
Vagabonds and other idle and disorderly Persons and to
Houses of Correction the Petitioners conveyed the Said
Mary Saunders< no role > to one of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the
Peace for this County who examined the Said Mary Saunders< no role >
