Constable of the Liberty
of Glasshouse Yard on
Account of passing and
delieving Vagrants and
for the Trearer to examine
report if any more
Money due to him.}

Upon Application made unto this Court by William
Richards Constable of the Liberty of Glasshouse Yard in the
Parish of St. Botolph Aldersgate in this County by his Petition
exhibited unto this Court Setting forth That he hath disbursed
divers Sums of Money for the Conveyance of Vagrants, and that
he is totally unable to carry on the Charge unless relieved by this
Court, an Account whereof is now laid before this Court, It is
thereupon Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer
of this County do pay the Sum of Eight Pounds and eight Shillings
unto the Said William Richards< no role > on account of Moneys
alledged to be due to him for the Conveying and relieving of
Vagrants, whose Receipt together with this Order Shall be a
Sufficient Discharge to the Said Treasurer for Such payment,
And It is hereby referred to the Said Treasurer to inspect the
Account of the Said William Richards< no role > and the Certificates of
Allowances made him by any Justice or Justices of the Peace
for his passing and relieving Vagrants, and to examine if
Such Allowances are reasonable and Such as ought to be
allowed, And to State if any more Money (over and above
the Said Sum hereby directed to be paid to him) is remaining
due to him for the Said Service, and to report the Same
at the [..] next Sessions.
